In the paper, problem of modeling thermal traces is addressed. The proposed model allows prediction behaviour a mark left by warm body on cooler ground. model, fractional order (FO) approach employed. This consideration an inital function (not only condition in one, initial time instant). uses scalar FO differential equation approximated with use Continuous Fraction Expansion (CFE) approximation. maintenance relatively small size good accuracy sense Mean Square Error (MSE) cost function. Experimental verification confirms traces.
